Chichens, the Pet Chickens You’ve Always Wanted

Are you ready to explore new worlds, but don’t want to leave the comfort of your home? Chichens created by Hyper Beard is a great little game that just might be right for you. By collecting these adorable little creatures, you can meet all their friends and explore different environments. The point of this game is to have fun and collect them all.

In the beginning, you start out with just one chichen. You must tap tap tap on it until you fill up the egg bar. Once the bar is full, you will be given an egg. All you have to do is wait until the egg hatches. Depending on how far you are in the game, this will only take minutes. However, as you progress, the wait time gets longer. Once the egg hatches, you will then have two chichens in your collection. Having two chichens now makes getting another egg twice as fast. Keep in mind though, you can only have so many chichens at a time, but don’t fret!  You can sell your older ones to make room for the younger ones.

You can also feed your chichens to make them bigger, easier to tap, and worth more if you decide to sell them. When you want to sell your chichens, you may realize that some are worth more than others. If you look beside each chichen, you will see a star. The number of stars will tell you the value of your chichen. The more stars you have, the more valuable it is.

Although it may feel hard to part ways with your chichens, you soon realize it is just the nature of the game. To go on to explore different worlds, you need feathers. The easiest way to obtain feathers is exchanging coins for feathers. Six hundred coins give you just one feather, and believe me, it can be hard to generate enough coins to gain enough feathers to unlock worlds. To gain coins you can either sell your chichens, watch advertisements, or just simply play the game.  Occasionally, chichens will just drop coins on the ground for you to collect.

To me, the best part of this game was the chichens themselves. They were so adorable and cute to tap on. I loved their faces of confusion as they ran around in a panic from all my tapping. However, this game takes up a lot of time. You are left waiting for eggs to hatch, and frankly, I found it annoying after the first few days. Also, it takes forever to collect enough feathers to go on to the other worlds.  If you are looking for a game that will last you on a long car journey, I would suggest it.  However, if you are looking for an everyday kind of game just to kill time on the bus or waiting in line, then this is not the game for you.
